i don't know if i'm proud of myself for having pushed through and finished this or disappointed that i caved to peer pressure and even started the trilogy to begin with。 i wanted to dnf not just this book but also the other two， multiple times， throughout the overarching story。 the author completely ruined the fmc for me; instead of growing into herself， sasha lost herself in kirill， and her personality was completely washed out。 there was no character development， there was no romantic developm i don't know if i'm proud of myself for having pushed through and finished this or disappointed that i caved to peer pressure and even started the trilogy to begin with。 i wanted to dnf not just this book but also the other two， multiple times， throughout the overarching story。 the author completely ruined the fmc for me; instead of growing into herself， sasha lost herself in kirill， and her personality was completely washed out。 there was no character development， there was no romantic development either， really。 the story went around in circles that didn't add anything to the plot， if it wasn’t for all the filler， their hea would've fit entirely into one book （and not a good one at that）。 this will probably be my last rina kent book， there's only so many times one can read the same story over and over again with different iterations of the same morally black psychopath and thin blonde woman。 。。。more

The 132 pages you cannot see any Kirill and Sasha together。 They are apart and Kirill pains because he thought she was dead。 Then when they get together， lots of misunderstanding again - The book can be finished just 100 pages。 The first book is the best of the whole series。 The second and the third is dissapointment :（
